The control panels are designed based on the type of system. Electromechanical control panels or integrated PLC panel are available for managing processing phases.
FAQ Control panel
What types of OMT electrical panel are available?
OMT supplies electrical panels designed according to the type of system. Two main configurations are available: electromechanical control electrical panels and electrical panels with an integrated panel and PLC (for automated management and traceability of the process stages).
What is the VM 4.0 panel and what advantages does it offer?
The VM 4.0 is OMT's new control electrical panel with an integrated PLC panel. It makes it possible to trace the processing, ensures a high level of automation and makes the GENESIS malaxer eligible for the tax credit for the purchase of tangible assets, in accordance with current regulations on Industry 4.0 assets.
Is the electrical panel customised for each system?
Yes. The electrical panels are designed to measure according to the type of OMT system they are intended for: size, number of components to manage (washing machine, crusher, malaxer, decanter, filter), level of automation required and the regulatory standards of the country of installation.
Does the electrical panel allow control of the malaxing temperature?
Yes. The electrical panel controls the circulation of heating water in the cavities of the GENESIS tanks and makes it possible to set a different malaxing temperature for each individual tank. This precise control optimises the malaxing stage according to the type of olives and the stage of ripeness.
Can the VM 4.0 panel be purchased separately?
The VM 4.0 panel can equip the GENESIS malaxer even when the latter is supplied separately from the SFR/A crusher. For feasibility on existing systems or for custom configurations, it is best to ask OMT for technical advice for correct sizing.
