OMT — Euro washer component

Euro washing machine

The EURO washing machine is a large hydropneumatic washing machine. It is a main component of the installation, designed to ensure the cleanliness of the olives through a hydropneumatic system, preparing the fruit for the subsequent processing stages and contributing to the quality of the final product. Removes any impurities such as soil, dust, leaves and other residues that may be present on the olives after harvesting.

The hydropneumatic washing machine is located after the deleafer and before the device (screw elevator or conveyor) that transports the olives to the crusher. This system ensures that the olives are cleaned before being pressed, thus contributing to the quality of the final olive oil. This washing machine is equipped with a double outlet grill: nozzles are mounted on the first grill for further washing of the olives with clean water; the second grill is vibrating to dry the outgoing olives.

This washing machine is designed and built to facilitate and speed up end-of-day cleaning operations.

The processing capacity is around 3000-5000 kg/hour.

FAQ Euro washing machine

The EURO hydropneumatic washing machine is a large washing machine with a processing capacity of about 3,000-5,000 kg/h of olives. It is sized to serve the Euro X2.0 EVOO (2,000 kg/h) and Euro X30 (3,000 kg/h) systems, and in general any configuration requiring high washing volumes.

The EURO washing machine is a standard component of the Euro X2.0 EVOO system and the Euro X30 system. It is located after the defoliator and before the elevator that carries the olives to the SFR/A thermo-conditioning crusher.

Yes. The EURO washing machine has a double grid at the outlet: the first is fitted with nozzles for an additional rinse of the olives with clean water, the second is a vibrating grid that dries the olives at the outlet. This two-stage configuration is sized to ensure washing quality even at high volumes.

Hydropneumatic washing removes any impurities left after defoliation: soil, dust, residual leaves, small twigs and other debris typical of harvesting. Clean olives at the crusher inlet are crucial for the organoleptic quality of the final oil.

Yes. The EURO washing machine is designed and built to make end-of-day cleaning operations easier and faster, which is particularly important for large systems that work on contract and must maintain high hygiene standards throughout the olive harvest.
