The thermo-conditioning crusher unit is an essential component of the larger GENESIS crusher-kneading system. This integrated system mainly consist of the thermo-conditioning knife crusher and the GENESIS modular kneading unit.
The thermo-conditioning crusher is an innovative knife crushing system with a vertical rotation axis. Its main features include:
Knife crushing system with a vertical rotation axis: This system ensures 360-degree crushing through the holes in the grid, making it easier for the paste to come out naturally and eliminating potential overheating.
Cylindrical crushing chamber with mechanical shovel: The cylindrical crushing chamber is equipped with a mechanical shovel which conveys the paste coming out from the grid directly to the mono pump avoiding the stationing of the paste inside the crusher.
Optional “pre-kneader” function: The user can decide to manage the crushing chamber as a "pre-kneader", by maintaining the paste inside it, thus starting the conditioning of the product and increasing the efficiency of the GENESIS kneading system.
Greater grill diameter/height ratio + “open geometry”: This design improves the grinding of the pulp without exceeding in the smashing of the stone and of the inner almond, and to avoid excessive heating problems.
Optimization of the capacity/Kw ratio: The crusher has a capacity/Kw ratio of 3:1, reaching up to 4.5 t/hour with 15 Kw, thanks to the absence of friction and “pulverization” efforts.
New washing system: It is equipped with rotating blades with sprayers for instant and/or continuous washing of the knife-grid unit and the paste collection chamber.
The thermo-conditioning feature of the crusher is possible by using it as a “pre-kneader”, where the paste can stand to begin conditioning. Furthermore, the design aimed at minimizing the heating of the paste during pressing contributes to the control of the product temperature in the initial stages of processing.
The crusher is designed to work in an integrated way with the GENESIS modular kneading vats. The crushed paste is transferred by the mono-pump to the group of malaxing vats, where the real kneading phase takes place. This integrated system aims to maximise the efficiency and quality of the product obtained.
