Crushing and malaxation
in an integrated modular system
Crushing-kneading system Genesis's features
Two are the key elements of this system: the new SFR/A thermo-conditioning knife crusher and the modular GENESIS malaxation unit. The innovations introduced by this system concern both the crushing and the malaxation phases, as well as the integration between the two.
SFR/A crusher's innovations
The SFR/A crusher uses a knife crushing system with a vertical rotation axis. This system ensures a 360-degrees crushing through the screen holes and facilitates the natural flow of the paste, preventing compaction and overheating which may occur in other crushing systems.
It has a higher diameter/height ratio of the "open geometry" grid. This improves pulp mulching without over-grinding the stone, preventing problems of excessive heating.
The crusher has a capacity/Kw ratio of 3:1, reaching up to 4.5 t/hour with 15 Kw, thanks to the absence of friction and “pulverization” efforts.
The cylindrical crushing chamber is equipped with a mechanical blade that conveys the paste directly to the mono transfer pump, preventing its stagnation inside the crusher.
The user can decide to manage the crushing chamber as a "pre-kneader", by keeping the paste inside it, starting the conditioning of the product and increasing the efficiency of the GENESIS kneading system.
It's equipped with a washing system with rotating blades and sprayers for an instant/continuos washing of the knives-grid unit and the paste collection chamber.
Modular Kneading group GENESIS innovations
It's a modular system of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 vats, with a capacity of 600 or 800 liters each. The vats are entirely made in stainless steel and have a cavity for the circulation of heating water.
The water temperature is regulated directly by the control panel, and a different kneading temperature can be set for each vat.
The vats have a circular internal surface and are equipped with a special shovel for the mixing of the paste. This special shape makes the vats efficient both in the processing of small and large batches. The new design of the rotating axis increases efficiency in both the filling and the emptying phases of the vat.
Each vat is equipped with a rotating washing system which guarantees perfect cleaning thanks to the circular internal surface.
The vats are equipped with a level probe and an inspection cover with glass with integrated LED.
A PLC control panel is available as an optional.
Integration and overall benefits
The integration of the SFR/A crusher and the GENESIS malaxing unit aims at maximizing the efficiency and the quality of the final product.
This system plays a fundamental role in the production process, influencing both the quality and quantity of the oil.
The GENESIS crushing and kneading system introduces several innovations to improve the efficiency, the quality and the flexibility of the olive oil extraction process; the system operates together in synergy between the crushing and the kneading phases.
